Junior 4 worked on the players

Junior 5 worked on the history

Junior 6 worked on the 32 countries

IT´S BEEN HARD WORK LEARNING ABOUT THE 2014 WORLD CUP.

Teachers and kids have been working on the countries, the players, the history for more than a month.

“TVNEWS”

The idea of making a “TV NEWS” was first a simple one, planned for Junior 3 and then it started growing…. At the beginning we wanted to take photos of the kids, then we wanted them to learn the original song … Finally Junior 2 and Junior 1 got into this project too.

We asked a photographer and a video editor for help!!! We devoted some days writing the script, preparing the materials and rehearsing the dialogues, the dance and the song!!!

Have a look at the video!!! It´s worth watching it!

It has a lot of information: Interviews to famous players, the description of each group, the flags, the description of the “mascot”, its friends and the ball, and the girls dancing as cheerleaders and the boys dancing and singing the official song.

DON´T MISS IT!!

Junior 4: Learnt a lot about the Argentinian players. They prepared their biographies and talked about them. Finally they made a football pitch with a box of shoes and played football with their family.

Junior 5: worked really hard on the history of the World Cup. We learnt a lot about it, best players, best teams, the stadiums, the countries, some trivia,,, Fantastic Project!

Junior 6: worked on the countries! They investigated on the countries, their cities, their food, language, music, dance…

With some funny facts about each country they made a BIG BOOK. Great Job!!

WE ARE SO PLEASED WITH ALL THIS WORK.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK KIDS AND TEACHERS FOR THEIR COMMITMENT AND ENTHUSIASM ON THIS PROJECT.

Miss Claudia Ugo. Head of English Department.
